Airlines Pet Policy - Restricted Breeds
Aggressive pets, huge pets, pregnant pets, pets under the age of eight weeks, and pets suffering from any disease are not allowed to fly. Most airlines prohibit snub-nosed breeds (brachycephalic breeds) from flying due to health concerns. This is due to the fact that they are more susceptible to fluctuations in air pressure and temperature, which can result in serious respiratory problems. The airline's and destination country's policies may apply to the shipping of captive wildlife that requires a special permit to be kept as pets. The breeds that are prohibited from traveling are as follows:
